Josh has over twenty years of experience servicing a diverse group of private and family-owned businesses as well as not for profit organizations. He has a passion for developing professional client relationships which allows him to understand each clients’ unique accounting and tax needs, and also to provide realistic solutions to the issues they face.

Josh has over twenty years of experience in professional services, all gained at Hilborn LLP. He consistently strives to build strong, professional relationships with his clients by ensuring expectations are clearly set, deadlines are established (and met) and operating with integrity at all times. By listening to and understanding the challenges his clients are facing, he is able to work collaboratively with them to develop realistic and cost-effective solutions to their issues.

As a trusted business advisor, Josh encourages open discussions with each of his clients to gain an understanding of not only where their businesses are today, but where they would like to see them grow in the future so he can work with them to achieve their objectives. Within Hilborn LLP, Josh enjoys being a coach and mentor to staff at all levels within the Firm. He has an open-door policy and aims to create an environment whereby staff feel comfortable coming to him with any challenges they may be facing.

Outside of work, Josh’s passions include attending concerts, cheering on the Pittsburgh Penguins (along with the Blue Jays and Raptors) and visiting craft breweries in and around the GTA.
